You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor

The Lord appeared to Abram and said,
"To your offspring I will give this land."

God told Abraham, ..."because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."

The Lord said to Jacob,
"I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying."

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you;
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

To the Jews is the adoption as sons.
To the Jews is the divine glory.
To the Jews are the covenants.
To the Jews is the receiving of the Law.
To the Jews is the Temple worship.
To the Jews are the promises.
To the Jews are the Patriarchs.

And from the Jews is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah,
who is God over all, forever praised!  Amen.

"And all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them
in all their vast order.

As a result of the serpent, Adam chose to disobey God and brought sin, physical death,
and seperation from God to all mankind.

God covered the shame of Adam and Eve
with the skins of animals He had to kill.

God then cursed the serpent and told him one would come from the woman.
The serpent would bruise his heel,
but he would crush the serpent's head.

The origin of the One who would come from the woman
would be from ancient times
and He would be called,
"God with us."

This One would come from the Jews.
He would be born in Bethlehem.
He would be from the tribe of Judah.
He would be heir to the Throne of David.

He would heal the deaf and the blind and the dumb.
He would preach to the poor and the broken hearted and the captives.

He would carry our sorrows and bear our sicknesses.
He would be pierced in His hands and feet and side.

He was pierced for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities,
punished for our peace,
wounded for our healing.

He would die as a guilt offering for God's people.

But after the suffering of His soul,
He would see the light of life and be satisfied.
By His knowledge,
the righteous servant of God would justify many.
He was numbered with the transgressors
and bore the sin of many.

69 sevens (483 years) after King Artaxerxes
issued the decree to rebuild Jerusalem,
the Annointed One of Israel would be cut off.

What happened 483 years after King Artaxerxes issued that decree?

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you,
righteous and having salvation,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

And from the Jews
is the human ancestry of the Messiah,
who is God over all, forever praised!
